We Care Seniors is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 with a mission to improve the quality of life for vulnerable and low-income seniors in our community.
Recognizing the urgent need for culturally adaptive and trauma-informed care, our founders brought together a passionate team of advocates, healthcare professionals, and community leaders dedicated to empowering seniors to age with dignity. Our organization was born from the understanding that systemic barriers often prevent seniors from accessing the resources and support they need, leading to isolation, financial insecurity, and poor health outcomes.
Since our inception, we have focused on developing programs that address these challenges head-on. Our initial efforts centered around providing financial literacy workshops and health and wellness classes, which have since expanded to include digital literacy training and community outreach initiatives. Through our work, we have successfully created a welcoming environment where seniors feel valued, respected, and connected to their community. Our partnerships with local health centers, advocacy organizations, and community groups have allowed us to reach a wider audience and tailor our services to meet the diverse needs of the seniors we serve.
